Advertising Disclosure
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Purpose of this disclosure
We believe you should always know when content on MyReferral.systems is paid for. This disclosure explains how sponsorships, featured placements, and other commercial relationships appear on our platform, consistent with the Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and native advertising.
2. Sponsors
Chapters and the platform may accept sponsorships from businesses that want visibility with our member community. Sponsor logos, banners, and mentions — for example, at meetings, on chapter pages, or in newsletters — are paid placements. Sponsorship does not constitute our endorsement of the sponsor's products or services, and sponsors receive no special treatment in referral tracking or member standing.
3. Featured businesses and chapters
Some directory listings may be labeled "Featured." Featured placement may be a paid upgrade or an editorial selection (for example, newly active chapters). Where placement is paid, it affects ordering and visibility only — it does not change a business's verification status, reviews, or referral statistics, which are never for sale.
4. What is never paid
- Referral statistics, counts, and reported closed-business values;
- Verification badges tied to documentation (such as licensing or insurance);
- Member ratings and reputation indicators;
- Placement in another member's referral — referrals are made by members, not sold by us.
5. Affiliate links
If we publish content containing affiliate links (links that earn us a commission when you make a purchase), we will identify that content clearly at the point of the link or at the top of the page.
6. Questions or concerns
If you see a placement you believe should be labeled as advertising and isn't, tell us at hello@myreferral.systems and we will review it promptly.
